Summer Training Initiatives 2010

The Training Institute of Ontario is pleased to announce its regional training initiatives for this summer 2010. Building upon Pebbles to Pearls, Fire and Snow, and In Serried Lines, this summer’s initiatives seeks to assist all to walk confidently their path of service. Fire and Snow

Fire and Snow is a two week training program designed for teams and individuals to gain experience working in a neighbourhood community setting and learn how to effectively channel their capabilities of service through methods and activities of the institute - devotional gatherings, the spiritual education of children, the spiritual empowerment of junior youth and tutoring study circles.

From Copper to Gold: Junior Youth Animator Training

From Copper to Gold is a week-long training for youth wishing to advance along their chosen path of service as junior youth animators as they strive to help young people form a strong moral identity in their early adolescent years and empower them to contribute to the well-being of their communities.

Dawning Points Junior Youth Camp

Drawing from the Institute’s learning with the Fire and Snow Junior Youth camps, Dawning Points is a week-long junior youth program that provides an opportunity for junior youth to join together in fellowship and strengthen their identity as selfless servants to humanity.

Lights of Fortitude: Youth Year of Service Training

The Lights of Fortitude initiative is a formal youth year of service program that seeks to train, deploy and practically support youth willing and able to serve for a sustained period of time at the level of the cluster, whether on the home front or abroad.
